Voco Reading Hotel, Reading

The hotel has its pros and cons. The rooms, overall, were perfect, large, and very comfortable, but there was a big chip in the bath and the shower mat looked very yellow and tired. The service, especially at the sports bar, was exceptional, with great customer service and staff going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location, while convenient next to the stadium and not far from the city center, could be challenging during events like the Reading Festival. Additional fees for facilities were not ideal.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice big beds, a fridge, and efficient air conditioning system. The service was exceptional, with polite and friendly staff who made my eggs perfectly. The location was convenient for work, although it could get noisy at times. The dining experience was good but slightly overpriced. Overall, a decent hotel with some excellent features.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were modern, really spacious, clean, and came with a super comfortable bed and bedding, but were not as expected based on the online pictures. The location was fine but full of kids running around; however, being next to a football stadium was a plus. The dining experience was fantastic with a wide variety of options but came with a higher price tag for simple choices.
